At Tekgen Technical Institute, we are committed to providing quality training while maintaining fair and transparent financial policies. This Refund, Return & Transfer Policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations, refunds, and course changes are permitted.
1. General Policy
- All course fees and payments are subject to the terms outlined in this policy.
- Some charges are strictly non-refundable to account for administrative, resource, and certification processing.
- Tekgen reserves the right to make case-by-case decisions where deemed appropriate.
2. Cancellations by the Student
a) Before Course Commencement:
- More than 7 days before the course start date:
Eligible for a 50% refund, excluding registration or administrative charges (up to 20% of the total course fee, depending on the course).
Details of administrative charges will be provided upon request at the time of refund application.
- Within 7 days of course start date:
No refund is applicable. Course resources and seats are already committed.
b) After Course Commencement:
- No refunds will be issued once the course has started, regardless of attendance or progress.
3. E-Learning / Online Courses
- All e-learning, virtual, and self-paced training programs are strictly non-refundable once registered, regardless of platform access, attendance, or completion.
- This includes:
- Login credentials or online portal access
- Live Zoom sessions
- Video lectures or recorded sessions
- Downloadable course materials
- Online assessments or certifications
By registering for any online course, the student acknowledges and agrees to this no-refund condition.
4. Transfer or Substitution Requests
- Requests to transfer to another batch or substitute a participant must be made at least 3 days prior to course start date.
- Transfers are subject to availability and may incur additional fees if the new course differs in cost.
- One free substitution is allowed per enrollment, if requested in time.
5. Cancellations by Tekgen Technical Institute
If a course is canceled or postponed by Tekgen:
- Students will receive either:
- A full refund, or
- A free transfer to another available session of the same value
- Tekgen is not liable for other costs incurred by the student (e.g., travel, accommodation, etc.)
6. No Show Policy
- Students who fail to attend a course without prior notice will be marked as a No Show.
- No refund, rescheduling, or credit will be provided in such cases.
7. Refund Request Procedure
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to: 📧 info@tekgenti.com
- Include full name, course name, payment proof, and reason for cancellation.
- Incomplete or verbal refund requests will not be processed.
8. Refund Processing Timeline
- Approved refunds will be processed within 10 to 14 business days.
- Refunds are issued using the original method of payment.
- Bank charges, service fees, and payment gateway deductions are non-refundable.
9. Non-Refundable Items
The following will not be refunded under any circumstances:
- Administrative or registration charges (up to 20% of course fee)
- Fees paid to third-party awarding bodies (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA)
- Course material costs (if already provided)
- Online course fees once login access is granted
- Payment gateway or processing fees
10. Late Payment or Outstanding Dues
- A 10% penalty will apply immediately after the payment due date.
- An additional 5% penalty will apply per month on the outstanding balance until fully settled.
- Tekgen reserves the right to withhold certificates, results, or course access until dues are cleared.
11. Corporate or Group Enrollments
- Corporate clients must submit refund or transfer requests through their designated coordinator.
- Participant substitutions are allowed before course commencement.
- No refund or credit will be issued for absent employees or dropouts once the course has begun.
12. Force Majeure
Tekgen shall not be held responsible for course disruptions caused by:
- Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, etc.)
- Political unrest, war, or government actions
- Public health emergencies or lockdowns
- Internet outages or platform issues affecting virtual training
In such events, rescheduling or credit options may be provided. Refunds are not guaranteed.
